Summary
A tap-dancer is invited to represent Ukraine at an International Dance Competition. She’s honored but scared - since she hasn’t danced for the past three months because all the studios have been closed due to intense bombing in Kyiv and the competition takes place in ten days! Suddenly, she remembers the folktale ‘Rolling Pea’ (Kotyhoroshko’ in Ukrainian) that her grandmother told her as a little girl. It’s the story of a brave soul’s search for autonomy that not only inspires her but leads her to serve her country in an unexpected way.
